Circle Cast the circle, cast it round, upon the floor, or on the ground and if these things you cannot find then cast the circle in your mind Set into motion power of air, and where the sun should rise, then set it there and call upon the Ancient One for wisdom in the rising sun Come ye south to the land of fire a mid-day blaze, the funeral pyre ask courage from the Lady's hand to walk upon this burning land. Westerly the sun goes down, the sea beneath a lingering light, 'neath water deep and night comes creeping like the grave Serenity from the Lady crave When the sun is far beneath the earth , the mindight hour a lonely truth, a broken tower but from the ruins again we know serenity and peace and grace may grow Draw the circle round, times three Scribe it round, then Let it Be With faith and love, we bannish fear No thing of dread can enter here And so the circle round is cast drawn in peace, and strength and trust and when these things are done, and whole then cast the circle in your soul. ![]() |
