Know ye a tale

Know ye a tale to tell me?
Know ye a tale of the roe deer in fawn?
Tell me a tale of the hunters red morn.
Tell me the tale of this summers dawn.
Know ye a tale?
Tell me a tale of the swift flowing stream.
Know ye the tales of the hillside so green?
Know ye a tale or mayhaps a dream?
Then tell me.
Know ye a tale of sunshine and light?
Tell me a tale of darkness and night.
Know ye the tales of the starlight so bright?
Know ye a tale?
Tell me a tale of the flickering flame.
Of fire and wind, the earth and the rain.
Know ye a tale to sever our chains?
Then tell me.
The Lady and Lord with hands ever bound.
The shimmering circle of life newly found.
The spinning of time as the seasons pass round.
Know ye a tale?
By a touch of the hand and the mind and the eye.
Tell me a tale of the craft of the wise.
See here the earth and there see the skies?
Know ye a tale?
Then tell me.
