Remember all the little things
The fleeting spirit ties
and psychic stitches
For they are real.
Recall the antics
and the innocence of eye,
when you were driven frantic
asking why.
The mischief and disgrace
held in disdain,
and whiles aloof, would saunter
and turn the other face,
insolence and care
in all behaviour.
All in a moment
bold and tragic,
then in a flicker
just like magic
all attention.
A comfort and a grief
and no doubt at times a thief
giving joy beyond belief,
'only' a Cat.?
